Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-04-28
Summary
Most of our tools run entirely in your browser. Your inputs (text, numbers, code, etc.) usually never leave your device. We collect minimal anonymous analytics and serve third-party display ads. We do not sell your personal data. Read on for specifics.
What we collect
1. Tool inputs
Most calculators run client-side: nothing you type goes to our servers. A small number of tools call an internal API (e.g. word unscrambler) — those requests contain only the keyword/letters needed for the lookup, are not logged with personally identifying information, and are not stored beyond the request lifetime.
2. Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics (e.g. Plausible) or Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are popular and which need improvement. Analytics record anonymous pageviews, referrers, country, and device type. We do not use tracking cookies for cross-site behavioral profiling.
3. Local storage
Some tools (Wheel of Names, etc.) save your inputs to your browser's localStorage so your data persists across visits on the same device. This data never leaves your browser and is not accessible to us.
4. Cookies and ads
We display ads from Google AdSense (and may add other networks like Mediavine in the future). Ad networks use cookies and similar technologies to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. You can manage personalized ads via Google's Ads Settings or opt out at aboutads.info/choices. EU/UK visitors will see a consent prompt where required by GDPR.
How we use data
- To improve the calculators (which inputs cause errors, which tools get used most).
- To serve ads that pay for hosting.
- To respond to support emails you send us.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not run cross-site tracking pixels for advertisers.
- We do not require accounts or store passwords.
- We do not log the content of your tool inputs (text you type, numbers you enter) on our servers.
Your rights
EU/UK/CCPA residents have rights to access, correct, delete, or export their personal data and to object to processing. Since we don't collect personal data linked to identity, most of these rights are automatically satisfied. If you have a specific request, contact us.
Children
Our tools are general-purpose and not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted on the home page for at least 14 days.
